Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent has plenty to be thankful for these days, and recently added another significant milestone to her journey.
The often-controversial reality television personality celebrated 5 years of sobriety with a heartwarming post on social media.
As previously reported by Monsters and Critics, Lala has remained open about her sobriety; often chronicling all the highs and lows that come with removing alcohol and drugs from her life.
Unlike Lala’s co-star James Kennedy who previously tried his hand at being California sober, swearing off alcohol but not giving up marijuana, Lala has committed to removing all mind-altering substances.
And while this is an exciting time for the mom of one, she wasn’t celebrating alone.
In fact, Lala was surrounded by several of her friends, family, and Pump Rules co-stars for the occasion.

In the touching post on Instagram, Lala shared an adorable shot of herself with her two-year-old daughter, Ocean, who she shares with ex-fiance Randall Emmett.
In it, the mother-daughter duo can be seen flying a rocketship ride while Lala smiles enthusiastically at the experience with her little one.
The post’s text captures the day’s importance for the longtime Pump Rules star.
“I’ve been sober for 5 years today,” she started. “On this day I replay my rock bottom moment. All the details of what happened on this day.”
Lala continued to talk about feeling powerless to her addiction, but waking up determined to find “light at the end of the tunnel.”
The caption concluded with the 33-year-old acknowledging that while she’s thrilled to be celebrating another year of sobriety, she wanted to take a “moment of silence” for the alcoholic she still is.
“I see you- I love you,” she continued.

There was plenty of love in the room at Chili’s family restaurant for Lala’s sober birthday, and some of it was even captured for other social media shares.
Brittany Cartwright, Lala’s former Pump Rules castmate, shared a picture with the blonde and commented, “5 years!!! So proud of you beauty!!”
Scheana Shay, one of Lala’s BFFs as of late, shared several gushing posts for her close friend.
In the first post to her Instagram Stories, Scheana loved on Lala by reposting her grid share.
“Happy 5 years sober!!! @lalakent you inspire me everyday and are one of the strongest women I know. Congratulations on this HUGE milestone. I’m so proud of you,” Scheana wrote.
In the second share, Scheana shared a video clip of Lala holding her daughter Ocean while the party guests sang.
“Everyone got together @chilis tonight to celebrate this incredible woman! @lalakent you are an inspiration to so many and should be extremely proud!!!” she captioned the share.
After making it through some tough years, Lala has plenty to be proud of as she continues her sobriety journey.
