It’s been a while since Julie Stoffer has been involved with reality television, as the former star of The Real World and The Challenge is making her return for the third season of The Real World Homecoming this month after 17 years away from MTV.

With so many years passed by, it may not be too surprising that Julie doesn’t remember every castmate from all of her Challenge seasons. However, one would think some might stand out based on her feuds and being Challenge champions.

In a recent series of messages online, she seemed to have forgotten about her castmate Rachel Robinson, a two-time champ during her Challenge days, who appeared in several seasons with Julie Stoffer.

The Challenge’s Julie Stoffer asks, ‘Who is this Rachel?’

On Wednesday, MTV’s The Challenge unveiled a trailer for its upcoming workout series, which features Road Rules and Challenge star Rachel Robinson as the instructor. Since moving on from her MTV days, Rachel now teaches her own fitness classes, including sessions in Miami that Challenge alum have attended.

Julie Stoffer, who was on The Real World: New Orleans, did five seasons of MTV’s The Challenge, two of which included Rachel in the cast.

However, Julie showed up in the comments on MTV’s tweet about Rachel’s workout video and seemed not to remember Rachel.

“Who is this Rachel and why did I never get to go on a Challenge with her? I need to go on a challenge with an awesome like this who will kick my a**!! Please Challenge gods, hear me!!! I need Rachel in my life,” Julie replied to the tweet.

That brought super fan @GamerVev into the comments to inform her they did several seasons together.

“Wait, are you dead serious? I seriously don’t remember! So I’ve met her? OMG how do I not remember this???” Julie replied.

Another Challenge fan account even jumped into the comments to inform Julie that she was on Inferno II with Rachel in 2005, with Julie still seeming not to remember.

Fans and Rachel Robinson react to Julie’s comment

Other fans jumped into the comments section, some of whom believe Julie might be throwing shade at her former castmate. One individual dug up a clip from one of their seasons together, where Rachel said she didn’t trust Julie.

“Julie baby you should’ve kept that one in the drafts. ?????,” another fan commented.

Another fan believed Julie was joking around that it’s been a while since anyone has seen Rachel on reality television.

Rachel also replied in the comments, suggesting that she and Julie have “grown and evolved” since their time on the show.

Julie, 42, and Rachel, 39, appeared in the Battle of the Sexes season in 2002 and then in Inferno II in 2005-06. Julie only appeared in two episodes in that Battle of the Sexes season, as she was voted off. However, she and Rachel were in Inferno II for 12 episodes together.

By the way, Julie also was involved in that infamous zip line moment where viewers and castmates thought she was trying to kill Veronica Portillo as they were hanging high above the ground in a daily challenge.

According to US Magazine, Rachel also secretly dated Veronica for three years. Julie clearly has ties to both castmates from seasons they did together. Still, it’s been a while for the former Real World and Challenge star.

Fans will be able to see more of Julie Stoffer soon, along with her New Orleans castmates, when The Real World Homecoming: New Orleans hits Paramount+ this month.

She’s also mentioned her intent to appear on The Challenge: All Stars spinoff season, and if things worked out, perhaps Rachel and Veronica would be there too.

The Challenge: All Stars 3 premieres on May 11 on Paramount Plus. The Real World Homecoming: New Orleans premieres April 20 on Paramount+.
