Little People, Big World stars Zach and Tori Roloff have come under fire by fans who thought the couple wasn’t being safe when they took their son, Jackson, on a sledding trip.
On the latest episode of LPBW, viewers watched as Zach and Tori took their eldest child, son Jackson, on a solo playdate to go sledding for the first time.
Tori and Zach explained that their daughter, Lilah, demands a lot of their attention and they thought Jackson could use one-on-one time with mom and dad.
Zach, Tori, and Jackson’s sledding trip spun out of control
During their sledding adventure, Zach and Jackson rode down the hill together first. Zach lost his balance, and the two fell out of the sled onto the slopes.
Tori also fell off her inner tube, into the snow.
Luckily, no one got hurt, but fans of LPBW feared they could have been, claiming Zach and Tori didn’t take safety precautions.
Fans of LPBW took to Reddit to discuss the latest episode. Zach and Tori’s lack of safety protocols, including the lack of helmets when sledding, was a contentious one.
LPBW fans were concerned that no one wore helmets
One fan of LPBW commented on Reddit of the sledding incident, “No helmets–so lucky no one was seriously hurt with that stupid sledding.”
“I’m so over Zach’s attitude,” commented another Reddit user. “He was lying about taking Jackson down the hill and he didn’t hold him properly. He didn’t even squeeze him between his legs, Jackson was between his knees. He’s lucky he didn’t fall on top of him,”
Another LPBW fan commented about Zach laughing hysterically after he and Jackson fell off the sled.
They wrote, “And then, after it happened, he was laughing and laughing like some sort of lobotomized idiot.”
Luckily no one got hurt while sledding
More LPBW fans pointed out the dangers during Jackson’s sledding trip.
Another Reddit user commented, “[That’s] a steep hill to be casually sledding on. They could get really hurt.”
One fan of the show was concerned about Jackson’s safety, as well as his emotional wellbeing.
They commented, “[No] helmets. [First] time sledding should be on a gentle slope in your own backyard–the little kid was really scared and shaken.”
Zach and Tori love to take adventures as a family and share them with their followers. Tori and Jackson recently took another solo trip — this time, to Disneyland in California.
While Tori and Jackson were having fun at their other “home,” as they refer to Disneyland, Zach stayed home and held down the fort with Jackson’s little sister, Lilah.
