Garrett Yrigoyen is one of the two final guys left on Rebecca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. She’s currently choosing between Garrett and Blake Horstmann. And while Blake has coasted through the season with lots of smile, heartbreaking stories about a school shooting, and family issues, Garrett has been left fighting to clear his name.
When he first started on The Bachelorette, fans fell in love with him because of his goofy attitude and laid-back personality.
But it didn’t take long for people to dig up dirt on Garrett Yrigoyen, who was caught liking posts and photos that mocked feminists, transgendered people, and immigrants. He also liked posts that encouraged violence against undocumented immigrants and fat jokes surrounding women.
In another shocking move, he also liked posts that talked about the U.S. military throwing small children over the border wall.
After The Bachelorette began, Garrett Yrigoyen quickly deleted his Instagram and issued an apology, telling people he had no idea what it was like to be famous. He also apologized to those who may have been offended.

But that wasn’t the only scandal he had to deal with. On one episode of The Bachelorette, Garrett also opened up about being a divorced man. He cried when he told Becca that he had indeed grown apart from his ex-wife, but she told a different tale.
