Below Deck Season 5 is finally here! With Captain Lee Rosbach, Kate Chastain and Nico Scholly returning, along with six new crew.
The new episodes see the team return to 154ft mega yacht the Valor, with Kate as chief stew — a role she has held on the Bravo series since Season 2, and Nico, who first appeared last season, as senior deckhand.
You can find out more about the Below Deck Season 5 cast here, made up of chef Matthew Burns, stews Brianna Adekeye and Jennifer Howell, and deckhands Chris Brown, Bruno Duarte and Baker Manning.
Because of all the new recruits, Captain Lee has a lot on his hands with only Kate and Nico to rely on. Meanwhile, Kate’s efforts getting her two brand new stews up to standard as quickly as possible tests her patience and stress levels.
But what better way to relax than with…a hunky sailor, who she nicknames “Jesus” because of his long hair!
Nico faces a tough start to the season as he gets to terms with role while dealing with the death of his brother. He also finds out pretty quickly that he has history with one of the new stewardesses — Brianna.
But it turns out he’s not the only one to have eyes for her, as fellow deckhand Chris and chef Matt also have eyes for her.
Bruno is completely new to being a deckhand and along with Jen, who is a single mom, may find the intensity of work on board the Valor a lot to cope with.
At some point during the season an emergency situation — which by the looks of the trailer sees someone almost losing their hand — leads to Captain Lee having to shuffle up the team. But not everyone’s happy about it.
All that while being able to keep the high-paying guests happy? Only time will tell…
