Tammy Slaton has announced that she is once again a single woman.
Shortly after reconnecting with her ex-boyfriend, Phillip, Tammy has shared that the two have parted ways.
Phillip appeared in multiple seasons of 1000-Lb. Sisters with Tammy, as they had an on-again-off-again relationship for several years.
The relationship was not accepted by most of Tammy’s family, who believed Phillip was using her for TV time and social media followers.
They were also concerned that he was sabotaging Tammy’s weight loss since he claimed to only date women who weighed over 300 pounds.
Although Tammy gave Phillip multiple chances to prove his love for her, the two could not work through their differences. Now, Tammy says they are officially over and she’s ready to move on for good.
Tammy Slaton ends her relationship with Phillip
While connecting with her fans on TikTok, Tammy revealed the status of her relationship. After confessing that she was now single, fans quickly filled her comments with questions about what happened.
One fan asked Tammy specifically about Phillip, and she responded, “It’s nothing I wish to discuss. Not trying to be rude, I just, you know, it’s personal. S**t happens, and you just move on.”
Tammy went on to say, “This time I’m not going back. But he’s a good guy.”
Earlier in the summer, Phillip visited Tammy in rehab and the two revealed they were back together. Tammy credited Phillip for supporting her as she worked to lose weight and said the two had plans to continue their relationship once she returned home.
When fans doubted Phillip’s motives and questioned their relationship, Tammy insisted he was being genuine and said they worked though past issues.
Unfortunately, it seems that Phillip returned to his old ways and Tammy is no longer interested in being with him.
