Dr. Simone Whitmore and her husband Cecil have had quite the year. During the couples’ trip to Antigua on last night’s episode of Married To Medicine, Cecil explained that they had worked on their marriage and they were now in a different place. Just last year, the two contemplated divorce, and Simone actually filed.
During the first dinner, Cecil gave Simone a gift and both of them had tears in their eyes, as they told one another how much they loved the other and how happy they were. But when the episode was over, the previews for the rest of the season hinted more trouble was to come.
Dr. Simone and her husband Cecil were filmed out for dinner when Simone says, “You went to dinner with another woman. I can’t do it with you anymore,” and then walking out of the restaurant.
At present time, it’s unknown who she referred to when she talked about Cecil being out for dinner with another woman. Of course, it could be editing that makes it sound like he’s been cheating again.
They could also be recreating a conversation Simone had with someone, showing Cecil how one of her friends had walked out on her husband after learning he had been dining with someone else.
The Antigua trip took place back in June back on Cecil’s Instagram picture, where he talked about a couple’s trip for Married To Medicine. He also tagged himself as being in Antigua.
In September of this year, Dr. Simone and Cecil were featured on Bravo, where they talked about reaffirming their love for one another. Bravo even put them through their own version of The Newlywed Game and labeled them as newlyweds.
Later in September, Dr. Simone Whitmore celebrated her husband on his birthday. She wrote that she hoped he had another year filled with life’s many blessings and that she was excited to celebrate with him.
By all accounts, it sounds like the dinner with the other woman was just a misunderstanding and may not be as serious as the previews suggest. Only time will tell, but by all accounts, Dr. Simone Whitmore and Cecil are together and still going strong.
Married To Medicine airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
