Prince William and Duchess Kate are planning a big move to be closer to Queen Elizabeth.

The couple, who recently returned from a controversial trip to the Caribbean, is looking at houses in Windsor. William’s 96-year-old grandma, Queen Elizabeth, currently lives at Windsor Castle.

Why are William and Kate moving? Sources say the issue is multi-faceted. The Queen contracted COVID-19, which has slowed her down in her old age.

Furthermore, she is allegedly getting closer to her son Prince Andrew, as she lives in Windsor. If the two are closer to the Queen, they can exert more influence on her.

Prince William and Kate Middleton move to be closer to Queen Elizabeth

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly looking to move closer to William’s ailing grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

OK Magazine reports that the couple is looking at Frogmore House and Adelaide Cottage, two royal homes in Windsor, as potential locations for their family of five.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge currently hop between Norfolk and Kensington Palace with their three children.

But the future King and Queen consort are allegedly concerned about the relationship between Queen Elizabeth and her son, Prince Andrew. The Queen has ailing health, which has caused her to seek residence at Windsor Castle full time. Windsor is 20 miles outside of London, where Buckingham Palace is.

Prince Andrew lives next door to his mom, Queen Elizabeth, and sources claim the two are growing too close. Prince Andrew, who settled a sexual assault lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre less than two months ago, has been surrounded by scandal for a few years.

Given Prince Andrew’s situation, Kate and William might want to move closer to the Queen to stop the mother-son relationship from growing more.

Queen Elizabeth makes her first public appearance in five months for Prince Philip’s memorial service

Queen Elizabeth made her first public appearance in five months last week. Last October, the Queen was briefly hospitalized due to a health concern. In February, she contracted CO-VID 19, further complicating her health.

The English monarch attended Prince Philip’s memorial with Prince Andrew as her escort. Many royal spectators did not expect this, as they had previously planned for Andrew to stand back at the service and not be in the public eye.

Royal experts suggest that the Queen’s choice to be escorted by Prince Andrew was a statement. More specifically, the Queen’s choice of Andrew as an escort was a subtle way of showing she supports the disgraced royal.

It sounds like Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and three of the youngest royals will be living in Windsor together.

He’s still her son no matter what . She loves him and no one should come between a mother’s love.
