Ariana Grande had a witty response for Paper Magazine when they mocked her for her love of oversized jumpers and hoodies.

Paper Magazine joined the growing list of organizations and individuals who decided to spread public service information as fears continue to grow over the coronavirus.

It all began on Thursday when they shared a video titled “Ariana Grande Washing Her Hands.”

This video first appeared online last year and featured a woman wearing a gray jumper, in the style of one of Grande’s fashion choices. The woman attempts to wash her hands but gets the sleeves wet instead.

Paper Magazine included the caption: “Using this iconic video as a friendly reminder to wash! Your! F******! Hands!”

Concise and to the point, I think you’ll agree, and with admirable sentiments too.

Ariana Grande joins in the fun

The Thank, U Next singer got wind of the mocking video and decided to join in the fun. She replied in the comments, “hate u all.”

Grande clearly likes a joke and doesn’t mind poking fun at herself; when the VFILES Instagram account posted a similar video last year, she responded in the comments section with, “man if y’all don’t leave me alone.”

People Magazine reports that the meme first became popular on TikTok in 2019 when a user posted a video of themselves making a sandwich with their sleeves followed by them washing their sleeves.

They captioned it: “You’re Ariana Grande and You’re Making A Pb&J.”

More from Ariana Grande

Paper Magazine aren’t the only ones to poke fun at Ariana Grande recently; Alessia Cara nailed an impression of the singer on Tonight with Jimmy Fallon last November.

Ariana Grande also hit the headlines recently for wearing items that are considerably fancier than the oversized jumpers and hoodies she’s often spotted in.

At this year’s Grammys, she caused a stir by wearing not one, not two, but three different ballgowns, one of which is pictured at the top of this article.

She also had some particularly fancy Lorraine Schwartz jewelry on, which she really didn’t want to give back.

CDC recommends regular handwashing

The CDC is recommending that we all wash our hands regularly; they suggest washing in warm soapy water for a minimum of 20 seconds. Try singing happy birthday to yourself, twice, to get the timing right.

If soapy water isn’t available, then an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol should be used, although soapy water is much more preferable.

So, don’t forget to wash your hand’s folks.
