WWE Monday Night Raw tonight takes place at the Verizon Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The WWE has announced that the main event on the show will see Roman Reigns returning to in-ring action to battle Jinder Mahal.
Here is a look at the WWE Monday Night Raw preview for tonight’s big show.
Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal
Interestingly, Roman Reigns and Jinder Mahal were scheduled to wrestle at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on Sunday night. While that match may still happen, the WWE is advertising that the challenge was accepted for tonight’s Monday Night Raw episode.
Last week, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins lost to Elias and Jinder Mahal and then Reigns fought with Mahal backstage. They will now fight tonight and then probably have a rematch on Sunday, so don’t expect tonight’s match to have a clean end.
WWE Money in the Bank preview
There are two matches on Monday Night Raw tonight that will showcase the wrestlers involved in both the men’s and women’s Money in the Bank ladder matches. On the men’s side, Braun Strowman, Bobby Roode, Finn Balor and Kevin Owens will wrestle tonight in a four-way match, and the winner will head into Money in the Bank with a clear advantage.
The women have the exact same match on hand. Sasha Banks, Natalya, Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss will compete in a four-way match as well. However, there is no word on if Natalya is in any condition to wrestle after last week’s injury against Nia Jax.
Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey face off
Speaking of Nia Jax, after Natalya was injured in last week’s match, she will see Ronda Rousey face-to-face before their title match at Money in the Bank. Jax looked genuinely concerned about Natalya’s injury — which was an accident.
However, Rousey acted out in anger concerning the injury and the two will have time tonight to hash that out before their title match on Sunday.
There is a new constable in the WWE
One of the most confusing things to happen on Monday Night Raw last week was when Baron Corbin said that Stephanie McMahon made him the new “constable” of Monday Night Raw to make sure things are kept on the up-and-up. What does Corbin have in mind tonight for the WWE Universe?
WWE Monday Night Raw airs at 8 p.m. EST on USA Network.
