Tonight on Deadliest Catch: Dungeon Cove – a winter storm forces the captains to decide whether to continue to crab or head home.
As a winter storm rolls in and creates big waves over the Newport Bar the boats have decide whether it is too dangerous to stay out. Also some of them don’t get a choice when they are stuck due to the huge waves coming over the bar.
The Excalibur is almost full with just a few more pots to gather but the waves are getting larger and more unpredictable. Captain Chris Retherford has to weigh up landing the crab and the safety of his deckhands.
Last week in the premiere episode we saw just how crazy getting across the bar could be and if you lose power then it can b #e fatal.
The bar is like the one faced by captains on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks but a lot more dangerous and less predictable.
