Fans are asking who is Jimmy Veneziano, following the most recent episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. At the end of the episode, a tribute was given for Veneziano, honoring his work with the show.

The message simply stated, “In memory of Jimmy Veneziano.” While people working on the show certainly know who he is, he never really received a lot of public accolades for his endeavors.

Who is Jimmy Veneziano from NCIS: Los Angeles?

Veneziano died this summer, and his friends set up a GoFundMe account for his memorial services. In it, they mentioned his endeavors to help people he knew to join the casts of Sons of Anarchy and NCIS: Los Angeles.

“We lost our brother. It is time to honor his life. We would like to raise enough money to have a proper memorial service for our beloved ‘Vegas Jimmy’, organizer Nick Wilson wrote. Chris O’Donnell even made a $1,000 contribution to the GoFundMe, which raised $7,495, far above the original $2,000 goal.

Veneziano also has an IMDb page that shows his role of Jim the Mechanic on Sons of Anarchy. It was a noteworthy achievement, but Veneziano was more active behind the scenes and was also listed as a casting director.

The producers and writers felt that they should dedicate an episode to him, so that is exactly what they did on October 14.

NCIS: Los Angeles provides a twist during October 14 episode

During the episode that Jimmy Veneziano was honored, NCIS: Los Angeles brought back a character from the past. Joelle Taylor, who is the former girlfriend of Callen, reappeared during a mission by the team. She is played by Elizabeth Bogush and the writers left her story open. This means Joelle could return in the future, possibly to save the day again.

NCIS: Los Angeles airs Sunday nights at 9/8c on CBS.

Good to hear good things about people in a show; be it an actor, writer, etc. When a person dies it’s nice to know that the people in the show appreciate what he/she did. Whether it be a performance by a cast member or by a director/producer. Thanks.
