When does A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving air in 2019? That is a question millions of children and parents alike are asking.

We are now officially just two weeks away from Thanksgiving, and once again anticipating the annual airing of the classic Charles Schulz production that has been a family tradition for decades.

When did A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving first air?

Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Sally, Linus, and the whole Peanuts gang have become an American staple over the years.

With many popular classics, including It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Schulz’s Peanuts characters are still just as popular today as they were 50 years ago.

In this Turkey Day adventure, Charlie Brown and Sally are preparing to go to their grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving dinner when one seemingly harmless phone call from Peppermint Patty, who takes the liberty of inviting herself to tag along, changes the direction of Charlie Brown’s entire holiday!

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving first hit the airwaves on November 20, 1973. CBS was the first station to carry the soon to be classic. It was so popular and well-loved that it won an Emmy Award the following year.

So, when will old Chuck and the crew be back in 2019?

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will be airing on Wednesday, November 27 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Yes, that is the day before Thanksgiving!

So if your family has a lot of prep to do before the big feast on Thursday, what better way to end the day then by watching the annual classic?

What could be better than that? How about a second Charlie Brown adventure!

Following A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, the Peanuts gang will set sail for America on The Mayflower in This Is America, Charlie Brown: The Mayflower Voyagers.

This episode will air right after A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
