The Millenials react after being told to drop their buffs on this week’s Survivor: Millenials Vs. Gen-X

On Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X this week, the tribes have things switched up after host Jeff Probst utters his famous words: “Drop your buffs!”

The catchphrase has become a staple of past seasons and always means things are about to get exciting. And the two tribes get a big surprise when he comes out with it during this week’s episode.

He tells them: “There are so many elements to the game of Survivor, but there are some elements that have no control over and yet they can change your game just like that. Drop your buffs. We are switching things up.”

Also on this week’s Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X, the Takali Tribe (Gen X) put together a search party to try to find the Hidden Immunity Doll.

So far in the season, three castaways have been eliminated from Takali — Rachel Ako, Lucy Huang, and Paul Wachter — alongside one from the Millenials’ Vanua Tribe, Mari Takahashi.

Last week saw Lucy bite the dust after David played the Takali doll. Meanwhile, Adam still has the Vanua’s doll.

Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
