The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 3 airs on Sunday and to get viewers ready for more, AMC has revealed a new episode sneak peek. While things are peaceful between all the groups, a handful of Saviors stop Maggie in the road, it becomes clear fast that something is about to go down.
As seen in the video below, a segment is shown where Maggie Greene is confronted on the road by a group of Saviors. They want to know what has happened to their missing members. A lot of suspicions are going around, and it is now led to a very tense confrontation.
The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 3 sneak peek
This is an important scene to the episode. Not only does it show that the Saviors are getting restless, but also that Maggie has been able to control her emotions when it comes to dealing with the opposition.
As shown during the second episode of the season, Saviors have been going missing. There was a theory that they were simply running off or possibly planning something.
When Justin, who had been banished by Rick, ends up getting attacked, it becomes clearer to viewers that something else is going on and now, the group wants answers.
Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohan leaving The Walking Dead
Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) are approaching their final episodes on the show. It was already revealed that these fall episodes will see the exit of Rick. The character has struggled to lead during all nine seasons of the show, and it appears that the struggle is about to come to an end.

By the AMC previews and the sneak peek of The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 3, it appears that subplots are starting to take hold that will lead to the death of Rick Grimes. This lines up with reports that Lincoln is ready to leave the show for good.
There are also hints about what might happen to Maggie Greene, especially if she gets fed up with the drama and wants to simply protect baby Hershel. A bit of TWD foreshadowing has made it look like Maggie’s exit may not be as painful for The Walking Dead viewers as Rick’s. Rather than leaving the show via a gruesome death, it’s starting to look more like Maggie might opt to go live with another group, giving her room to make appearances again later in the show.
The Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9/8c on AMC.
