On tonight’s The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo — the ladies have some serious doubts about whether Luann de Lesseps’ fiance Tom D’Agostino can be trusted.
Preview videos of the episode, titled Body of Evidence, shows all manner of feelings come to light as the group heads to Luann’s engagement party aboard an enormous superyacht.
At one point Tom appears to flirt with Ramona — telling her she smells “like grapefruits” — while he is left with a frog in his throat after former lover Sonja tells him: “After you guys get married you’ll have to introduce me to a nice guy.”
At the party Jules is serving up shots and Fandango cocktails which do a good job of loosening everyone up, with Tom doing the rounds of the ladies.
At one point hear Tom tells Ramona he likes her “fragrance of citrus”, and this starts alarm bells ringing for Carole.
Carole and Ramona step aside to discuss the apparent flirtation. And Carole reveals to the camera: “Tom and Ramona have a lovely easy, natural rapport. But I don’t think that Tom should be telling Ramona that she smells like grapefruits.
“I think, if he wants to tell anyone that she smells like a grapefruit, it should be Luann.”
Meanwhile Sonja, who was “friends with benefits” with Tom for ten years, makes a point of putting on a brave face and going up to Luann to tell her: “You look gorgeous!” She adds: “It was nice to see Tom with you, you know.”
But Sonja is taken aback when Luann then flashes her ring and says: “We’re getting married! I’m getting married!”
Sonja confides in the camera: “Just say thank you and give me a hug when I wish you well. Don’t flash me with your ring and blind me! I mean, I’m already kind of, like, stunned.”
Meanwhile in Miami, Bethenny Frankel is worried that Luann really can’t trust Tom after the scandalous information she’s become party to.
Speaking to Luann in private, she cuts to the chase and says: “I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but are you guys monogamous?”
Luann says: “Of course! What do you mean monogamous? We’re getting married!”
Luann is a bit perturbed at the question, but Sonja says: “Just make sure that you’re 100 per cent sure, because I’ve been through an ordeal, and how do you know you can trust him?”
But Luann can tell something is amiss. She says: “The way Bethenny is asking me these questions is not sitting right with me. It makes me feel like Bethenny is up to something. She’s not being mean, she’s not being argumentative, she’s just being…coy.”
In another preview clip, Sonja admits to Ramona she is feeling really blue about the whole thing.
Ramona says to her: “It’s kind of weird that your good girlfriend is now getting married to the guy you were lovers with.”
With tears starting to stream down her face, Sonja says: “I’m sad.”
Ramona then separately confronts Luann and the pair have a heated row, while Bethenny looks like she’s finally reached a decision on the secret info she knows about, telling the ladies while Luann’s not there: “I don’t know what to do. I have to tell her.”
