The first-ever Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian made its official debut on Disney Plus this past Tuesday.
With the first installment of the new show based on a bounty hunter also came lots of questions. Those ranged from wondering when it takes place to the names of different creatures or vehicles.
However, many fans want to know when does The Mandalorian Episode 2 officially come out on Disney Plus?
What is The Mandalorian?
The Mandalorian is the first live-action Star Wars series released on television, although it technically is on streaming media through the new service Disney Plus. It’s considered science-fiction, family, and action-adventure programming with a TV-PG rating.
The series stars Pedro Pascal as a Mandalorian, a bounty hunter who is conducting his work following the events of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Other cast members include Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte.
Here’s a look at the official trailer for The Mandalorian. It gives glimpses of the different visuals that many viewers feel reminds them of the original trilogy.
The show has Jon Favreau (Lion King) at the helm as the main creator, writer, showrunner, and co-executive producer. Each episode features a different director with Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, Bryce Dallas Howard, Deborah Chow, and Taika Waititi directing.
The Mandalorian Episode 2 release date
Unfortunately, Disney Plus made sure their new Star Wars series comes out weekly, rather than all at once. That means fans can’t have an all-day binge session to watch all of the episodes just yet.
The good news is Disney Plus is releasing the next episode just days after the series debuted. The Mandalorian Episode 2 release date is set for Friday, November 15.

However, fans who sign up and get the Disney Plus app can enjoy a one-week free trial of the new service. So waiting until Saturday could allow for a week to watch three of the episodes. The third chapter is set to arrive on November 22.
Viewers who can wait longer can wait until all eight episodes have arrived. The eighth and final chapter comes out on December 27, 2019.
That said, it can be hard to wait, especially for Star Wars fans. The show has been mostly met with a positive reaction after just one episode. So it seems like it may cure that hunger for Star Wars until Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker arrives in theaters next month.
Watch The Mandalorian Episode 2 on Friday, November 15, via Disney Plus streaming.
