The Young and the Restless spoilers for the Tuesday, October 30, 2018 episode of the CBS sudser tease that the Abbotts are left reeling from one member’s hasty and rash decision.
Last week’s flashbacks to a young Abbott family were illuminating and revealing as to the family’s dynamics in the present day. Seeing the way the family unraveled after Dina’s (Marla Adams) rude departure from her kids and hubby brought a sense of clarity to the current state of dysfunction afflicting the clan.
On Monday, the simmering tension came to a head with Ashley (Eileen Davidson) the mad chemist up and leaving the family in much the same manner that Dina did all those years ago. Instead of staying to work out her feelings, she chose to uproot, and the end result was a fractured family that must scramble to become whole again.
Which will be a lot harder given that Ashley practically took the entire family business with her. Now, Jack (Peter Bergman) must decide how to right the ship just as he did all those years ago as a young boy when Dina left the family in arrears.
Expect Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Billy (Jason Thompson) to try and worm their way into Jabot. But, explosive show spoilers reveal that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) tries to claim the CEO spot for herself much to the shock of her loved ones including Summer (Hunter King).
Speaking of Summer, her jilted father Nick (Joshua Morrow) takes devious steps to get close to Sharon (Sharon Case) as the upcoming Halloween hijinks approach.
But, he may get more than he bargained for as Sharon and the murder posse try to get to the bottom (literally!) of a problem they thought was dead and buried.
