The Young and the Restless fans can look forward to a familiar face as Kelly Kruger reprises her role in early November. What brings Mackenzie back to Young and the Restless? Could she be the mystery blackmailer sending spooky messages to J.T.’s (Thad Luckinbill) killers?
We last saw the talented actress on Y&R this summer. At that time, she was hellbent on finding her derelict hubby, J.T. Little did she know, he wasn’t missing, he was dead. Or is he?
J.T. was last seen being heave ho’d into the fresh dirt at Chancellor Park. But who’s to say that he stayed there? Since that time, several people have come looking for the wife beating cad, including Mac.
There’s also detective Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Will Mac come to Genoa City to have a talk with Rey about J.T.? Or is there an even more shocking reason for her to pop back up?
The J.T. mystery saga has never faded off into the sunset. The latest incarnation of this sordid affair involves the Murder Posse. The ladies have all received mysterious notes stating that someone somewhere knows what they have done and they are going to pay for their dark deed.
The million dollar question is, who is this all-knowing person. Could it be Mac?
It would explain her return after all this time. There is not much left in Genoa City for her. But what if she is the secret blackmailer and her return is the culmination (finally) of the J.T. mystery?
It would make sense since Mac never fully bought the sketchy stories that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fed her about J.T.’s last known whereabouts.
She’s a smart cookie, and it would be right up her alley to take matters into her own hands by seeking out clues to J.T.’s disappearance. Who else would have the incentive to torture the Murder Posse? Mac has a motive because the ladies took her children’s father from them.
This is only speculation, but there has got to be a bombshell reason for Mac’s return. She would not just leave her kids abroad without a major reason for doing so!
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS and in the evening on PopTV.
