Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie Chrisley, are currently awaiting sentencing for tax evasion and bank fraud convictions.

They were found guilty in June, and sentencing has been scheduled for October 6.

The Chrisley Knows Best stars must remain at their Nashville home until they find out their fate. Both face around 30 years in federal prison.

Aside from the legal issues in their lives, Todd’s mom, Nanny Faye, is battling bladder cancer. The reality TV dad revealed that his mom was diagnosed last year but wanted it to remain private. Their trial brought the information to light, so he could no longer stay quiet about it.

Their children, Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley have supported their parents. Savannah has been more vocal, but Chase has visited them at their Nashville home.

Despite the legal issues and public judgment, Todd and Julie Chrisley have continued their podcast, Chrisley Confessions.

Chrisley marriage remains strong as Todd and Julie await sentencing

In the recent episode of Chrisley Confessions, Todd and Julie Chrisley opened up about their marriage and how their legal issues have brought them closer together.

While discussing their marriage and the effects of their legal trouble, Todd said, “You know, I actually think that this has made our marriage stronger.”

He continued about people being stuck together because of kids or other obligations but said he and Julie are stuck together because they want to be, revealing, “I think that we are stuck together, I know from my perspective, that I’m stuck to her for life because I want to be — not because it’s routine, not because it’s habit and not because we have children.”

Julie talked about not wanting to do the ups and downs with anyone else.

Todd reiterated the “downs” the couple had suffered and attributed them to other people and outside influences.

The Chrisley family has faith

Despite Todd and Julie Chrisley thinking they wouldn’t be convicted, they were.

They have to work things out before their sentencing, including who will be responsible for Chloe and Grayson should they both have to serve time in federal prison simultaneously.

Savannah Chrisley has spoken out about her family’s faith in God and how they believe he will bring them through it. She feels more will come out, and things with her parents could change.

Chrisley Knows Best airs Thursdays at 9/8c on the USA network.
