MTV’s The Challenge Season 38, Episode 7 will bring some surprising moves to the competition as elimination decisions get more intense and personal.
A synopsis has recently arrived for the upcoming episode, which teases what’s coming. In addition, a teaser trailer arrived after Ride or Dies Episode 6 with more hints.
Based on the synopsis, viewers will see a “blindside” move in the competition, and a “shocking elimination” occurs.
A teaser trailer may have revealed some of the main players involved in those discussions or game moves.
The past few episodes already featured one Ride or Dies team squirming in the hot seat, which may also play into the upcoming episode.

The Challenge 38, Episode 7 synopsis teases upcoming events
Ride or Dies Episode 6 focused on cast member Michele Fitzgerald with the title, Come Michele or High Water. Episode 7 has the title Dark Web, which doesn’t necessarily refer to any cast members– yet.
According to the synopsis, a “crafty player” will have issues in the game due to their “web of deception.” The overview also reveals the name of the upcoming daily challenge.
“The political game intensifies as a web of deception causes problems for one crafty player. Brainpower and endurance is put to the test at the ‘Peaking Blinders’ challenge. A blindside leads to a shocking elimination round,” the IMDB synopsis says.
Blindsides are nothing new for The Challenge, and with numerous veteran players still in the game, it should be interesting to see who is involved.
In Episode 6, Jay Starrett and Michele were winners of the daily challenge for the second-straight week. While it kept them safe from elimination, it also put them back in charge of deciding on elimination teams.
Two teams they chose were Johnny Bananas, Nany Gonzalez, Kaycee Clark, and her brother Kenny. That caused issues as they put Nany and Kaycee into a possible elimination situation.
For their final two teams, Jay and Michele chose Laurel Stucky with Jakk Maddox again and Jordan Wiseley with Aneesa Ferreira. That was ultimately the elimination matchup, with Jordan and Aneesa winning.
However, the episode closed with Jordan saying he was fired up and coming back to the house for “vengeance” following Jay and Michele’s move. Earlier in the episode, he and Jay got into it during the interrogation scenes.
Ride or Dies Episode 7 trailer teases’ biggest snake in the house’
Following Ride or Dies Episode 6 on MTV, a short trailer also teased what’s coming.
The trailer opens with a cast member saying, “Sometimes you gotta be a wolf in sheep’s clothing to win this thing.” That’s likely Devin Walker.
The quick trailer puts most of its focus on Devin, with Amber Borzotra saying in a confessional, “Every time someone wins, Devin’s nice to them.”
A scene shows Devin and Tori at the bar enjoying drinks with Aneesa Ferreira and Jordan Wiseley, which could point to them being the daily challenge winners.
“She has said that I’m the biggest snake in the house,” Devin says in a scene involving Michele.
“What are you talking about?” Michele asks as she questions Devin in an outdoor scene at night. Other castmates are there, including Jordan, Tori, and Nelson Thomas.
Tori says things are “getting a little out of control” before Nelson is shown saying, “No, it’s not. Devin, say it.”
That seems to indicate the drama will be back again in Episode 7 of Ride or Dies, but which cast member will end up getting blindsided? Options are getting limited regarding daily challenge winners’ potential elimination teams, making every new episode that much more intriguing.
