Sister Wives star Paedon Brown told his fans that his father, Kody Brown, was a “good man” while raising him.

Kody and Christine Brown share six biological children: daughters Aspyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely, and their only son, Paedon.

Lately, Paedon has been more active on social media, sharing videos on TikTok that have garnered plenty of attention from Sister Wives fans. He even spilled that filming for Season 17 of Sister Wives is currently underway.

Kody and Christine Brown’s son Paedon Brown details struggles with body image, depression, portrayal on Sister Wives

In one of his recent TikTok videos, Paedon revealed that he once struggled with his body image, depression, and how he was portrayed on Sister Wives.

Text reading, “A quick look at my past,” appeared above Paedon’s head as he spoke to his followers.

Admitting that he doesn’t watch Sister Wives – because it’s his family and “that’s kind of odd” – he said that he stopped watching the show because he “didn’t like what he saw.”

“I was 12 and my absolutely incredible father, Kody, and my absolutely incredible (to this day) mother, Christine, were both doing great and I didn’t like me,” Paedon confessed.

“I’ve had severe body issues since I was nine and then when we moved, I had severe depression issues,” Paedon shared. “And I kept seeing myself get worse and worse and worse. And I know to this day that the worst part of me, the worst part of my life, is what everybody will remember.”

Although Paedon has made great strides when it comes to his body image and confidence, he’s aware that he still has more work to put in. But he wants his fans to remember him as he is now, so he’s controlling the narrative and putting out his own videos to showcase who he truly is.

“And now I’m catching myself in the mirror, thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, I look great!’ I’ve got far to go, but I’ve come so far and I’m so proud of what I’ve done,” Paedon continued. “But I hated what I was and I don’t like that that’s how I’ll be remembered.”

“So I started doing this, so I’ll be remembered as the fun, quirky, great-looking guy who came over a lot of hard things and came out of a lot of bad places. And I thank you all for the amount of support I get, both me and my mom. Thank you all,” the 24-year-old Sister Wives star concluded his video.

Paedon Brown defends dad Kody against critic, says he was ‘raised by a good man’

In the comments section, Paedon received over 6,000 comments from his fans, reassuring him that he is a self-assured, respectable young man.

One comment, however, caught Paedon’s attention. One of his followers seemingly disagreed with his statement about his dad, Kody, being an “incredible” father.

“Incredible father?” the comment read.

Paedon came to his dad’s defense and replied, “I was raised by a good man,” before explaining that he’s not fully aware of Kody’s life since he’s left Arizona.

“I haven’t lived there in years so I can’t be sure of what’s going on at all times,” Paedon added.

Kody Brown has come under fire for years by Sister Wives viewers, but after Season 16, he seems to have lost a lot more fans. Kody implemented strict rules upon his family amid the pandemic, which added to his marital issues and the family’s unity.

These days, Paedon is living in Utah, along with some of his siblings. His mom Christine returned to Utah last year after announcing her split from Kody, and it looks as though they’re all living their best lives without Kody.

Part two of Sister Wives: One on One airs Sunday, February 6 at 10/9c on TLC and Discovery+.
