Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff was caught off guard when her fiancé Chris Marek suggested they hang out with her ex-husband Matt Roloff and his girlfriend Caryn Chandler.

Amy and Chris don’t exactly see eye to eye when it comes to spending time with Matt.

This season on LPBW, Chris and Matt have become buddies of sorts and Amy isn’t thrilled about the idea.

Amy said earlier this season of Chris becoming friends with Matt, “That just feels very weird and strange to me. I hope that doesn’t happen.”

In a new preview clip for this week’s episode of LPBW, Chris brought up the idea of visiting Matt and Caryn to check out the new deck at Caryn’s new house.

This season on LPBW, viewers watched as Caryn found her dream house. One of the first projects Matt offered to help Caryn with was her deck in the backyard.

Chris admitted to Amy that he’s been talking to her ex-husband Matt Roloff

“Hey, I, uh, talked to Matt this morning,” Chris told Amy in the clip as the two took turns playing shuffleboard in their game room.

Amy scoffed before sounding snarky and replied, “Really?! Best buds?”

Amy doesn’t seem to approve of Chris becoming buddies with Matt.

Earlier this season, Chris was hopeful that Amy would appreciate that he wasn’t Matt’s enemy when he said, “I would hope that she would be glad that we’re closer friends than we are closer enemies.”

Chris brushed off Amy’s flippant remarks and continued to tell her, “Anyway, remember when we were over at the MC, and [Matt] showed us some sketches of the deck that he was doing for Caryn?”

Amy admitted that she didn’t remember because, “If he showed me, I didn’t pay attention.”

Amy wasn’t sure about Chris’s idea to visit Caryn’s house

Chris continued, “Anyway, it’s done. And so, I thought if we were in the neighborhood, we’ll stop by and take a look,”

Amy had an unsure expression on her face.

Again, Amy mocked Chris’s relationship with Matt and waved her arms around while telling him, “Oh, geez, we’re just like best buddies now! We’re hanging out!”

Chris didn’t seem to be bothered by Amy’s remarks and continued telling her, “Well, he knows I like that sort of thing. And, you know, I would like to stop by and take a look. Are you — are you OK with that?”

Amy kept an unsure expression on her face before shrugging her shoulders and somewhat sarcastically answering, “Um…OK.”

Chris seemed to either be unbothered or not paying to attention as he continued to play shuffleboard and replied, “So, you’re OK with that?”

“I guess,” Amy answered, once again reluctantly, “I guess we can.”

Amy Roloff felt a visit with Matt and Caryn would be ‘too close for comfort’

Amy was concerned about the impending visit, and started thinking ahead, as she asked Chris, “Do we have to bring anything? Or are they going to serve us food or anything? I hope not.”

During their interview together, Amy told cameras, “I mean, no — I’m not, I’m not a fan of going over to my ex’s girlfriend, partner, whatever title she may have — girlfriend, um, house.”

Amy added, “I mean, that just feels a little weird to me, a little too close for comfort.”

Chris mentioned that he and Matt also talked “a little bit about wedding stuff” and brought up that Matt revealed that he and Caryn have “kind of talked about” getting married themselves.

Is Matt Roloff planning on proposing to Caryn Chandler soon?

Chris told Amy that Matt hasn’t “officially proposed” to Caryn, and Amy added that she thinks Matt “is waiting until after our thing,” referring to her own wedding to Chris, scheduled for August 28, 2021 on Roloff Farms.

When Chris asked Amy how she felt about it, Amy admitted that she was “surprised he hasn’t done it yet.

Back in their confessional, Amy told Chris and the cameras, “I don’t think it really matters what I think.”

Chris joked with Amy, telling her, “Well, you’ve moved on, to bigger and better things.”

Caryn recently opened up about any possible wedding plans with Matt.

She told her followers that when it comes to her boyfriend Matt, “If and when I do get married again, I’d love for it to be to him.
