Colton Underwood, the newest Bachelor in the ABC Bachelor franchise, was born on January 26, 1992, making him 26 years old.
Colton was a virgin when he was filming the show and the fact that he chose to wait until he fell in love seemed to make people wonder how old he is and how long he had been saving himself.
But during the episode, the issue of age came up, as some of the ladies are older than Colton.
During some alone time with Elyse, she opened up about how the ladies had created cougar’s den in the Bachelor mansion. She explained that the older women – that’s anyone 27 and above – lived in the cougar’s den.
Most of the women are between the ages of 23 and 26, but there are some older women, including Elyse, who is 31 years old. Six of the ladies on this season of the show are over 27 years old, which seems to fit Colton just fine as he’s 26.
In the cougar’s den, Colton Underwood would find Sydney, who is 27, Nina who is 30, Tayshia, who is 28, Angelique, who is 28 and Tracy, who is 31. Tracy is the contestant who seems to have a major issue with Demi, who is 23.
The two women aren’t getting along, as Demi seems rather confident and goes for what she wants, while Tracy appears to be a bit more insecure and keeps overanalyzing everything that Demi does. She made a huge fuzz over Demi picking up the rose from the table when she was on a group date with Colton and the other women.
Age appears to be a big issue in episode 2, as Colton not only learns about the cougar’s den in the Bachelor mansion, but viewers also get a taste of the drama between the young Demi and the older Tracy.
The Bachelor returns next Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
