The Duggar family has been getting into the Christmas spirit, and over the weekend they celebrated with an “ugly sweater” party.

Jessa Duggar Seewald shared photos of her siblings and their significant others wearing their outfits, many of them garnering plenty of attention on social media.

Jill Duggar Dillard was present without her husband, Derick, who was studying for his school finals. Of course, Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo were also missing as they were back in Texas. Jana Duggar was nowhere to be found, which struck some followers as odd.

Where is Jana Duggar?

There is always something happening within the Duggar clan. Jana Duggar is the “mama bear” of the siblings, often taking care of her younger sisters and brothers while helping her mother tend to the household chores. She has even been dubbed “Cinderella Duggar” by viewers who criticize her role in the family.

But she wasn’t at the ugly sweater party for good reason. Jana Duggar is currently serving in Honduras alongside her parents and some of her younger siblings.

Many of the older siblings stuck around and attended the ugly sweater Christmas party, but Jana is helping on a missions trip. The family arrived there last Wednesday and it is unclear how long they will be there. It is likely they will be back home in Arkansas before Christmas though.

Who wore the ugliest sweater?

With all of the pictures posted by Jessa Duggar Seewald, many viewers were weighing in on who was the winner of the party. Unfortunately, a clear winner wasn’t chosen by the host, so personal preference is all Counting On fans have.

Although Josiah and Lauren wore an oversized sweater that was connected, the real stars of the night were definitely the children who made random appearances in the photos.

In fact, Jessa even shared a photo of Josh and Anna Duggar with their children. That caused quite a stir with viewers who have voiced concerns on his appearance after his sex abuse scandal, but there were also supporters who felt he should be forgiven as he took the steps needed to heal himself.

It looks like the ugly sweater party may be a yearly Duggar tradition moving forward. Lauren Duggar commented on the photos suggesting the idea and Jessa seemed to agree.

Counting On is expected to return to TLC sometime in early 2019.
