Randy from My 600-lb Life’s Season 4 on TLC was re-aired recently and people are shocked at how far this dad has come.

When Randy Statum was first introduced, he was miserable, weighing in at over 640 pounds. Living in Texas, this dad of an adorable little girl relied on his family as he was so unhappy with how he looked.

Randy revealed in his episode of the show that he was also a sufferer of lymphedema.

So how is My 600 Lb Life star Randy Statum doing today?

The cast members of this series are discouraged by TLC to discuss exact weight on their social media accounts. However, Randy has posted pictures of himself on his Facebook page and he looks nothing short of amazing.

Initially, Randy had a rough time with his trip to Houston, Texas to meet with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan and was warned that his heart would give out if he didn’t take his weight loss seriously.

But there is great news to share as Randy says that he is feeling better than ever now, even showing his progress on the Facebook’s “how hard did aging hit you” meme trend everyone was posting last week:

it is great news to see Randy has become healthier and more in tune with his eating habits, and now he is less than half the person he used to be. He has sworn off his bad habits as he looks to be celebrating his life as a hands-on dad to his daughter Khloe.

Randy Statum is a truly genuine success story and has to give the producers of My 600-lb Life a great sense of satisfaction that they could help this dad.

Randy’s story is one of the most positive ones that has emerged from the My 600-lb Life franchise.

My 600-lb Life airs on Wednesdays at 8/7c on TLC.
