Pin Wheel takes a chance with the weather on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks

Large Tuna caught
Tyler explains his logic on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks

Tonight on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks – Tyler makes a bold call to stay out all night and try to catch some fish at first light before the weather moves in.

Winter weather throws the different styles of captain into sharp contrast as cocky Tyler and his boat face the rough seas in search of tuna.

Pin Wheel has spent the night at sea so they can get some fishing done in the morning before the forecast bad weather arrives.

Tyler says 50 Knot winds are due and he knows his boat cannot handle those sort of winds and the waves they bring.

Pin Wheel really needs to land something before the weather moves in

His gamble looks to have paid off when they run into a sizeable fish, though they don’t land it without a struggle.

Large Tuna caught
The crew struggle to get this big fish on board

How will the rest of the crew fair as winter makes itself known?

Catch Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks – Old Sailors and Bold Sailors tonight at 9/c PM  on National Geographic.
