On My 600-lb Life this week, morbidly obese Nicole and boyfriend Charlie reveal their shared love of food — which they believe brings them closer together.
Nicole is the product of childhood bullying and blames the trauma and her addict parents’ poor choices for her 700-lb weight.
Her zeal for eating is out of control and her favorite pastime is shopping for and eating food. But will it be something that weight-loss surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzardian in Houston, Texas, can deal with?
A true food addict, our clip below shows how Nicole lives to shop, literally, and how she gorges on junk food with Charlie as they sweep the aisles for calorific treats in trips she describes as “romantic”.

Nicole says: “It’s kind of romantic in a way…after we shop I can’t wait to get home and eat.” As she grabs several bags of chips, she adds: “Charlie and I are chip connoisseurs.”
Nicole, from Marion, Ohio, is a mother of two toddlers and despite being relatively young she is barely mobile.
She and Charlie live with her parents, who must act as caregivers to her young children. But that is fraught with toxic history.
Humiliated and obviously out of control, Nicole’s diet of fast food as a youngster created a huge weight problem. As a result, she was a heavy child who was bullied in school. This continued while she was a teen, when Nicole discovered both of her parents were drug addicts.
But it is her unhealthy relationship with Charlie which is encouraging her biggest joy of food shopping. Addiction is a key word here as our clip demonstrates she cannot pass up eating chips, candy, and cookies.
It is the love for her children which have inspired her to ask for help and break the cycle of abuse…
