Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood started with a huge bang. K. Michelle joined the cast and quickly took aim at Lyrica with some shocking claims about what they songwriter may have done with her friend, Safaree Samuels. Is it true that Lyrica cheated on A1 with Safaree or is it all just part of the LHHH drama?
The drama between K. Michelle and Lyrica started because of the songwriter’s lateness. She and K. Michelle, who would like to be called Kimberly again,
Initially, it looked like Kimberly was the one who showed up with plans to talk to Lyrica about being late to their last meetup, something she claimed cost her a lot of money. When Lyrica didn’t grovel and apologize appropriately, K. Michelle came out and so did a string of accusations that will likely affect the rest of Season 5.
After ripping into Lyrica for being an hour late to a show that Lyrica says she only knew about three days in advance, Kimberly then took aim at her (former) friend by claiming she was in a fake marriage. It was after Lyrica talking about “faking it ’til you make it” when K. clapped back, saying, “I’m not faking it like you faked your marriage.”
Lyrica ended up storming out of the rehearsal space before turning right around and coming back in to make sure she got the last word in. This is when things got serious, and hilarious, at the same time.
At that point, K. Michelle was hooked up to an IV and was sitting on stage when Lyrica walked back in. Things quickly escalated again to the point where both K. and Lyrica were holding microphones and screaming insults at each other.
K. Michelle called for security but they certainly didn’t take Lyrica’s removal serious until after the big insult. It’s when K. Michelle blurted out, “That’s why you’re trying to f**k Safaree” that things got real.
“He called me and told me about all the things you’re trying to do,” K. Michelle continued.
In the Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood confessional, K. Michelle explained that Lyrica was “We all know I got my flaws but ain’t ever lie. And one thing that I know for a fact — You trying to f**k my big d**k a**ed friend Safaree.”
Clearly, no matter how hard she tries to bring her softer side, Kimberly is still K. Michelle and she’s here to bring all the drama on Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
A1 tries to talk to K. Michelle about the Safaree Samuels rumor later in the episode but that doesn’t end the drama between K. Michelle (Kimberly) and Lyrica. Instead, it looks like things are only heating up as A1 tries to figure out who is telling the truth.
