Joo Jin-Mo, the Korean actor known for his roles in Empress Ki and Bad Guys 2: City of Evil, is off the market. It has been confirmed he is in a relationship.

The news of Joo Jin-Mo officially being in a relationship was released by Korean news outlets on Saturday, January 12, 2019, KST. According to those reports, Jin-Mo is dating a doctor who is ten years younger than him.

The doctor also appears on many beauty and health-related television programs as a medical expert too.

After the Korean news outlets made Joo Jin-Mo’s relationship public, his agency, Huayi Brothers Korea, provided an official press release statement confirming it.

“It’s true that Joo Jin-Mo is dating a doctor. They’ve known each other for a while, but they recently began a romantic relationship. They are currently at the stage of getting to know each other.”

What has Joo Jin-Mo been doing career-wise as of late?

Joo Jin-Mo hasn’t been acting in over a year. His last acting gig was playing the role of Heo Il-Hoo in the Orion Cinema Network (OCN) crime action thriller, Bad Guys 2: City of Evil back in 2017.

The K-drama did well for a cable network series, but only average when compared to other OCN K-dramas.

This year, Joo Jin-Mo will make his return to the Korean small screen in Big Issue, a K-drama centered on Korean paparazzi. He will play Han Seok-Joo, an elite photojournalist who loses his job and family due to an incident.

Now an alcoholic, he gets hired as a paparazzo. Opposite of him will be Han Ye-Seul (Madame Antoine, 20th Century Boy and Girl) who plays his notorious editor-in-chief.

For those in the Americas interested in seeing Joo Jin-Mo act in his latest work Bad Guys 2: City of Evil, it is available via subscription on Netflix as Bad Guys: Vile City.
