Fans want to know if Natalie is leaving Chicago Med, after what took place at the end of the latest episode of the show.
Is actress Torrey DeVitto leaving the Chicago Med cast? The producers and writers of the show are sure hinting at it in a strong way.
We saw the relationship between Dr. Will Halstead (played by Nick Gehlfuss) and Dr. Natalie Manning (played by Torrey DeVitto) tested in one of the final scenes of the episode. Halstead was forced into counseling over his life-and-death situation and he blames Natalie.
That ending set the stage for what was previewed in the next episode of the show, which is likely where all the questions from fans are coming from.
Is Natalie leaving Chicago Med cast?
The preview for the January 23 episode (Season 4 Episode 12) definitely packs the drama into a quick 20-second promo. Dr. Natalie Manning is seen on a medivac chopper that begins to have troubles.
As the helicopter descends, text on the screen reads that “Next Wednesday. The episode. That will change their lives.” The narrator then refers to it as “An unforgettable Chicago Med.”
So, is actress Torrey DeVitto leaving the Chicago Med cast? Is Dr. Natalie Manning about to die? Has her relationship with Dr. Will Halstead come to an end? These are all questions that fans want to be answered.
The good news is that there have been no rumors or reports about DeVitto leaving Chicago Med. That makes it highly unlikely that Natalie is going to die in the next episode.
It would be particularly cruel to viewers, after she just missed her wedding day in the fall finale. While anything can happen on a show like this, like when actress Rachel DiPillo and her character of Dr. Reese just vanished, Chicago Med viewers can most likely expect Natalie to survive.
Chicago Med airs Wednesday nights at 8/7c on NBC.
