Elle King is the next co-host on Catfish The TV Show, joining Nev Schulman in solving the mystery of Alice. Nique has been chatting with a woman named Alice, who doesn’t seem keen on revealing her true identity.

King was born Tanner Eller Schneider and she’s the daughter of comedian Rob Schneider. She was born in 1989 to London King and Schneider, but she would come to have a complicated relationship with her father.

She’s currently living in Brooklyn, New York. IMDB reveals that she reportedly works for a tattoo shop called East Side Ink.

The website also reports that she married Andrew Ferguson on February 14, 2016, but separated from him after 15 months of marriage.

If Elle King looks familiar to you, wait until you hear her voice! She’s a singer and has released two studio albums, an EP and twelve singles. One of those singles, Good Girls, was featured on the Ghostbusters soundtrack.

King’s Ex’s & Oh’s was a massive hit back in 2015. In Canada, the song was a huge hit, scoring Quintuple Platinum on May 24, 2018.

The song would receive two nominations at the 58th Grammy Awards for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song.

On tonight’s episode of Catfish The TV Show, you can hear her song, Shame. You can listen to it in full below.

It was King’s step-father who encouraged her to pursue music. Justin Tesa is the man who her mother married after her divorce from Rob. The reason Elle goes by the surname King is that she didn’t want her father’s last name, dropping it in favor of building her own career.

In 2018, Elle King opened up about her strained relationship with her father, Rob Schneider, sharing that they had reconnected.

King reveals that her father was a workaholic when she was little. However, after Elle got divorced, struggled with substance abuse and suffered from PTSD, she reconciled with her father.

She also has two half-sisters, who played a role in their reconciliation.

“Honestly, he’s probably my biggest supporter. Like, every other day I’ll get texts in all caps of like, ‘Your record’s gonna change the world! I can’t wait for your fans to hear what you’ve made! I love you! I’m so proud of you!’ And that’s a beautiful, wonderful thing,” Elle revealed about her father’s support of her music.

Tonight, fans can catch her in a different role, as she seeks to help Nique find her love interest, Alice.

On Twitter, Elle King revealed that co-hosting Catfish The TV Show was a dream come true. She was so excited about it and during their little chat before the episode, Elle reveals that she has watched every episode.
