Donations are still coming in for Mountain Men star Preston Roberts’ family — more than five weeks after he tragically passed away following a battle with cancer.
More than $105,000 has so far been raised by the GoFundMe page set up in his honor by long-time friend and co-star Eustace Conway. The original goal was just $25,000.
The money is being used to support Preston’s wife Kathleen and his family in the wake of his passing. A new roof on the family home, which Preston was working on before he passed away, was fitted using the money earlier this month.
The outdoorsman and teacher died on July 24 after an inoperable tumor was found on his liver, which caused his body to quickly shut down.
Eustace recently penned an emotional tribute to Preston, where he praised his kindness and how he would always put others first.
You can make a donation to help Preston’s family here.
Mountain Men returns to our screens this week in an episode which sees co-stars Marty hunting for mountain goats on Kodiak Island and Morgan’s supply drop put at risk when an early thaw means it lands on thin ice.
Mountain Men airs Thursdays at 9/8c on History.
