On the next episode of Catfish: The TV Show, Aubri’s friend contacts Nev and Slick Woods to get some help when it comes to her Aubri’s 2-month-old relationship with a man named Brian.
Aubri seems to enjoy Brian and their relationship, but Nev quickly learns that they actually attend the same school. When Nev and Slick go to visit Aubri and her roommates in Texas, they are surprised by what they learn.
In the preview uploaded to Twitter, Aubri explains that Brian contacted her on SnapChat. When Aubri learned that her boyfriend had cheated on her, she relied on him to get over it. When Nev asks her if it is her ex-boyfriend, she says that it can’t be him.
To add people on SnapChat, you need to know the username. She never asked Brian how he got her username.
Plus, she claims that he doesn’t have money for phone minutes, and he never has time to talk. He also claims that his phone is broken, but he can take and post selfies.
Nev and Slick also learn that he’s playing basketball on the town’s local court, a place that Aubri is familiar with. She even went over to look for him, but couldn’t see him. That’s when Nev questions whether Brian is truly who he says he is.
When Nev and Slick start digging for Brian, they find him on a site called Men Candy. All the pictures that Aubri has are the ones that show up on the site. Through more searching, they discover a Twitter account and an Instagram account but his name isn’t Brian.
In a full-episode preview, Nev, Slick and Aubri do go to a park to meet someone and the person does show up.
Aubri doesn’t seem to give any indication that she knows the person. However, since he supposedly attends the same school as her, it could really be anyone.
