Jihad Ramadan is wanted by U.S. Marshals in connection with a 2005 stabbing and Thayne Smika is wanted by the FBI for murder.
Tonight, In Pursuit with John Walsh takes a look at both men and the allegations against them.
Honorary U.S. Marshal Walsh shines a light on the current search for Jihad Ramadan, who is wanted by U.S. Marshals SE Regional Fugitive Task Force in connection with a stabbing murder back in 2005.
Ramadan was a student at Hampton University where he is accused of stabbing a fellow student to death during what started out as a fistfight. He is thought to have fled to the New York area and there is currently a $10,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest.
If you have information about Ramadan’s whereabouts then you should contact your local United States Marshals Office or call 1-877-926-8332.
This episode also spotlights the search for Thayne Smika, who is wanted for a murder that took place on August 1, 1983 in Boulder, Colorado. On that day Smika’s roommate was found dead in the apartment they shared with a gunshot wound to his head.
It is thought Smirka may be living in California and a $10,000 reward is also being offered for information that leads to his arrest and conviction.
Smika should be considered armed and dangerous.
If you have any information concerning him you should contact your local FBI office.
