With two weeks to go before the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live have been putting the finishing touches on the feuds heading into the big show.
While Raw finally secured their tag title match last night, they also had the four members of their Money in the Bank ladder match battle in two separate matches. When it comes to SmackDown Live, it looks like the Blue Brand will focus on the women this week rather than the men’s ladder match competitors.
Here is a look at tonight’s WWE SmackDown Live preview.
Friends collide in a WWE Money in the Bank preview
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch helped kickstart the WWE Women’s Revolution with Sasha Banks and now both those women are on SmackDown Live. While they feuded a little on Raw back in the day, they are both faces and friends again on SmackDown Live.
However, both wrestlers are in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the next PPV and they were talking friendly smack last week on SmackDown Live when general manager Paige overheard them and booked them to wrestle tonight.
WWE bringing Mixed Tag Match to SmackDown Live
The other two women from SmackDown Live involved in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match are former women’s champion, Naomi and Lana. The two had a dance-off last week which ended up in a brawl. This week, they wrestle.
The match is a mixed tag match where Naomi teams with her real-life husband Jimmy Uso to battle Lana and her husband Rusev’s close friend and tag team partner Aiden English.
Contract Signing: AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura
There was a huge dream match at WrestleMania 34 between WWE world champion AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura. The match ended with Styles winning and then Shinsuke shocked the WWE Universe when he turned on Styles and hit him with a nut shot.
The two have had battles since, and Shinsuke continues to deliver low blows time after time. Their last match ended in a no-contest when they simultaneously delivered low blows on each other.
The two will wrestle again at Money in the Bank and Shinsuke Nakamura was allowed to choose the stipulation — a Last Man Standing match. Tonight on SmackDown Live, Paige will oversee a contract signing for the match between champion and challenger.
Carmella continues talking smack to Asuka
WWE SmackDown Live women’s champion Carmella is continuing to talk smack about her upcoming Money in the Bank challenger Asuka. While Asuka is a heavy favorite to win, Carmella is still talking trash and seems to be pushing Asuka’s buttons.

Tonight on SmackDown Live, Carmella has promised to “unmask” Asuka and reveal something about her Japanese challenger.
SmackDown Live airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EST on USA Network.
