There has been a ton of rumors about Kenny Omega since the announcement of All Elite Wrestling by his cohorts in The Elite. Now, there are rumors the WWE have come calling.

Of course, Omega was the IWGP Champion in New Japan, so he was still under contract there – but that all changed this week.

Kenny Omega finishing up with NJPW?

This week was NJPW WrestleKingdom and it was a fantastic card top to bottom, with some huge title changes. The Young Bucks finished up there. Cody Rhodes finished up there. Even Chris Jericho lost his IWGP IC title there to Tetsuya Naito.

However, the main event was Kenny Omega defending his IWGP Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi. The match was, as expected, an early match of the year contender, and it ended with Tanahashi beating Omega for the title in a match that lasted almost 40 minutes.

If this was Omega’s final big match in NJPW, he went out in style and proved why he is the man who carried that company for the last two years.

But, is it the end of Kenny Omega in NJPW? Omega has said how much he loves living in Japan and he has made a home there. However, if he leaves, he has two major options now.

Kenny Omega: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling

The biggest choice that Kenny Omega has it to wrestle with his friends in The Elite in All Elite Wrestling or to join the WWE.

Now, All Elite Wrestling is owned by the Khan family – the owners of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. This family is actually worth more than Ted Turner was when he purchased WCW and built a legitimate alternative to the WWE.

The family is also worth considerably more than the McMahon family.

However, there is also news from Wrestling Observer Radio that the WWE really wants to bring in Kenny Omega. The word is that they have offered him a “fantastic offer” and the word is that it is a multi-million dollar deal.

Omega could really make his mark in the WWE and build his own personal brand by joining them.

However, Dave Meltzer also reported that All Elite Wrestling, Ring of Honor and New Japan are meeting on Saturday to discuss how they can work together, which could be huge for the future of All Elite Wrestling as well as helping Ring of Honor being able to hold onto talent while All Elite grows.
