The WWE promised that they were changing things in 2019 and listening to their fans more and the reports of the first Monday Night Raw of 2019 had some serious announcements.
John Cena and Brock Lesnar return to Raw
The first of these announcements is that John Cena after he makes his WWE return on SmackDown Live this week will make his return to Monday Night Raw next week.
Cena has a big match on Tuesday night (see SmackDown spoilers here) and there is no telling what happens when Cena is back on live TV next Monday night.

The second announcement is that Brock Lesnar is coming back to Monday Night Raw on the first episode of 2019. This is huge since the WWE has announced that they are listening to the fans and one of the biggest complaints is that Lesnar is never on WWE television.
Lesnar was already announced to return to Monday Night Raw on the episode before the Royal Rumble, and this makes two episodes in a three week period of time. It will also be interesting to see what, if anything, he and Paul Heyman say about Seth Rollins comments about running through Lesnar on Raw this week.
A WWE title match on Raw
The final episode of Monday Night Raw in 2018 saw a title match as Dean Ambrose put his Intercontinental title on the line against Apollo Crews.
It was a nice opportunity for Crews, who has gotten very few opportunities despite immense in-ring talent over his career.
Now, the first episode of 2019 will see Bobby Roode and Chad Gable defending their Raw tag team titles against The Revival.

There have been a lot of fans vocal about The Revival getting a fair shot at the titles and this is their chance to finally step up and prove they belong in the title scene.
It will be interesting to see if the WWE is serious about kicking off a new era in 2019 and this is where it all starts.
