In the most shocking heel turn in WWE history, long-time fan favorite Daniel Bryan turned heel in his WWE Championship match against AJ Styles, won the title and will go on to face Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series.
Bryan has been struggling the past few weeks, snapping and attacking anyone and everyone.
After Paul Heyman came out on SmackDown Live and stirred things up tonight, Bryan attacked WW Champion AJ Styles and changed everything we know about Survivor Series.
The two had to be pulled apart as Shane McMahon tried to keep peace backstage as the SmackDown Live roster and Monday Night Raw roster will battle on Sunday at the Survivor Series.
Styles was angry though and challenged Bryan to another title match.
However, what no one could have seen coming was how that WWE Championship match would end.
The two fought long and hard and the end came after AJ Styles accidentally crashed into the referee. With the ref dazed, Bryan kicked Styles in the groin and then hit his Busaiku knee strike and won the match and the title.
It was a heel move by a man who has been one of the most beloved WWE superstars of the last decade.
Bryan didn’t stop there, though. After the match, he attacked Styles and delivered a number of powerful kicks to the head of AJ, leaving him beaten and broken on the mat.
how things change so quickly. How many times do you think they are going to say "David vs Goliath" on commentary this Sunday? #SurvivorSeries #DanielBryan #BrockLesnar #sdlive pic.twitter.com/y9NZczny2C

That means, shockingly, that AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar will not happen at Survivor Series and instead, the dream match of Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar will take its place.
