The news broke with a press release on Saturday morning by AXS TV, who announced that Piper will make her debut at the September 18 and September 19 live events in Los Angeles.
Piper is also scheduled to compete in the Casino Battle Royale at the AEW All Out event with the winner getting a shot at the inaugural AEW women’s world championship.
As for WOW-Women of Wrestling, Teal Piper joins a roster of talented women led by another second-generation superstar in Tessa Blanchard, whose father is the legendary member of the Four Horsemen, Tully Blanchard.

Teal Piper’s father Roddy Piper passed away in 2015 and now his daughter is carrying on the tradition of the man Nature Boy Ric Flair once called the “most gifted entertainer in the history of professional wrestling.”
“Wrestling has always been a part of me, and while no one can ever replace my dad, I hope to make sure no one ever forgets him,” Piper said.
Jeanie Buss, the owner of the groundbreaking all-female wrestling promotion WOW – Women Of Wrestling and of NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers, made the official announcement.
“WOW is proud to welcome Teal on board as the newest member of our family of Superheroes,” Buss said. “Her father, Roddy, left an indelible mark not only on wrestling, but on countless fans across the world. His spirit is alive and well within her, and the drive she has shown during her training sessions has been truly incredible to watch. WOW is honored to join Teal on her journey, as she pays tribute to Roddy’s legacy while blazing a new trail that is entirely her own.”
WOW-Women of Wrestling airs on AXS TV and its second season will premiere on Saturday, September 7, at 8/7c.
