When former UFC champion Ronda Rousey signed with the WWE, she told fans she was going to be a full-time star.

However, since her arrival, she hasn’t been around much and every week there is a question about whether Rousey will even be on WWE Monday Night Raw that night.

According to Ringside News, Ronda Rousey will not be on WWE Monday Night Raw tonight. As a matter of fact, her schedule for the next three months is very light when it comes to television appearances — which is rough since she has a PPV title match this month and is advertised on the promo materials for August’s SummerSlam PPV as well.

Rousey was on Raw last week and watched Nia Jax wrestle a smaller competitor before walking off without a physical confrontation with the current WWE women’s champion. This week, Natalya — a former women’s champion and a close friend of Rousey — is supposed to wrestle Nia Jax in her friend’s honor.

However, Rousey won’t be at Raw tonight to continue her angle against Nia Jax. The two are scheduled to wrestle at the Money in the Bank PPV on June 17 in Chicago. Rousey is scheduled to be at Monday Night Raw next week for the go-home show before the PPV and then again for the next two weeks of Raw episodes after the PPV (June 18 and June 25).

Cageside Seats reported that the actual match between Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey for the WWE Raw women’s title is also expected to be very short. The reason for this is likely due to Rousey’s inexperience as a wrestler and Jax’s limitations when working with lesser talents.

If Ronda Rousey does win the Raw women’s title, it might be too much, too soon. There are some great women’s wrestlers on Raw and this is only Rousey’s second professional wrestling match following her debut at WrestleMania 34 where she was able to hide her deficiencies in a tag match with Kurt Angle, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Rousey is only scheduled for one Raw episode in July — the July 16 show in Buffalo — and then isn’t scheduled back until August 20. Cageside Seats also reports that she is not scheduled for the July pay-per-view Extreme Rules, which casts doubt on her winning the title at Money in the Bank.

SummerSlam takes place on August 19, and while she is not scheduled for the lead-in TV shows before that event (or for the PPV itself right now), her photo is on the tickets that were sold for the PPV and she is booked for the two Raw’s following SummerSlam.
