It has been four months since a prompt was released for a mysterious wrestler known as Wardlow. He has now made his AEW Dynamite debut.

So, who is Wardlow, the man who helped MJF on Wednesday night?

Who is Wardlow?

When AEW first hinted at Wardlow, it was a promo that showed him walking with ladies and then battling some guys in a parking lot.

There was nothing else and no follow up and no one knew who he was.

Then, when AEW Dynamite started, there was another promo, this one just showing him working out and lifting weights.

So, he is a big guy who works out and beats up people in parking lots?

Now, there is a lot more to know about him.

MJF and Chris Herifcho were in the ring making fun of Cody Rhodes. That is when Cody ran in and attacked MJF.

However, Wardlow interrupted it and attacked Cody. He dropped Cody hard and then grabbed him and threw him over the top rope, while holding his tie, hanging Cody until officials saved him.

After this, MJF and Wardlow stood side-by-side.

It looked like MJF was going to join the Inner Circle, but it seems like he is his own man and has the muscle to back him up.

Wardlow in AEW

Unlike many AEW stars, Wardlow is not a big name on the indies or a former WWE star. Instead, he is a 31-year-old wrestler who stands 6-2 and weighs 249 pounds.

This makes him bigger than many AEW superstars, most of which are on the smaller side.

He is a boxing and jiu-jitsu wrestler who has worked for several indie promotions, including Northeast Wrestling, Warrior Wrestling, International Wrestling Cartel, Premier Championship Wrestling, and Revenge Pro Wrestling.

It took him a few months to finally debut, but he has a clear direction now as he works with the newly turned heel, MJF.

AEW Dynamite airs on Wednesdays on TNT at 8/7c.
