Ronda Rousey returns from suspension tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw and this might be when her road to the WWE women’s title officially starts.
Ronda Rousey was originally suspended when she attacked Alexa Bliss the night after the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view and then also attacked Kurt Angle and members of the security team as well.
The night before Ronda Rousey was supposed to return from suspension, she attacked Alexa Bliss and Mickie James at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view and Kurt Angle extended her suspension for one more week.
Now, tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw, it is finally over with officially and WWE.com reports that Ronda Rousey will return from suspension with her eyes set on Alexa Bliss and the WWE women’s title.
Despite the suspension and disregard for the rules, Kurt Angle still awarded Ronda Rousey a shot at the WWE women’s title at SummerSlam — her second title shot in the last three months in what is also only her third match for the WWE.
The idea that there will be a women’s only WWE pay-per-view on Oct. 28 called Evolution makes it sound like there might be a good chance that Ronda Rousey wins the WWE women’s title this time around.
Ronda Rousey has her face as the center point of the promotion for Evolution so either she will head in as the champion or be in a marquee match on the show — possibly a title match regardless.
Whatever the case, the promotion for the Alexa Bliss vs. Ronda Rousey WWE women’s title match starts tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw and Bliss better have eyes in the back of her head.
