Did Ronda Rousey win WWE title? Monday Night Raw preview for June 18, 2018

Ronda Rousey at WWE's Money in the Bank
Ronda Rousey will address her Money in the Bank match on Monday Night Raw tonight

With the Money in the Bank pay-per-view taking place last night, there was a huge title change in the match between Ronda Rousey and women’s champion Nia Jax, but it wasn’t who fans expected.

Tonight on Monday Night Raw, Rousey will address her match at the PPV and the fact that she did not win the title despite winning the match against Nia Jax.

Here is a look at tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw preview.

Did Ronda Rousey win WWE title?

Ronda Rousey looked good in the first single’s match of her career but showed that she has some work to do — especially when it comes to endurance and conditioning for longer matches. She will get a chance to work on that now since she was unsuccessful in winning the WWE women’s title.

While Ronda Rousey did not win the WWE title, she did win the match — by disqualification. Alexa Bliss ran in and attacked Rousey with her newly earned Money in the Bank briefcase before cashing it in and pinning Nia Jax in an impromptu match.

Both Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey will be on hand tonight on Monday Night Raw to address Alexa Bliss. What will happen when the two women try to get their hands on Little Miss Bliss?

Braun Strowman says Brock Lesnar is next

The men’s Money in the Bank winner was Braun Strowman, who went through seven other men to climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase. After that match, in a backstage interview, Braun Strowman was asked what was next for him, and he said unequivocally that Brock Lesnar was next.

With Lesnar rarely, if ever, appearing on Monday Night Raw, when will Strowman get the chance to cash in his title shot? Strowman will be on Raw tonight to address his title situation.

What is next for Seth Rollins and Elias?

While Seth Rollins walked out of Money in the Bank still holding his WWE Intercontinental Championship, he left with a banged up knee and his opponent, Elias, looked very strong in the match.

With the two having such a good, hard-fought match, their feud is far from over. Rollins has promised to be a fighting champion, but will he be ready to face another contender one night later and is Elias prepared to step back — or will he still be there to torment Rollins?

What is next for Roman Reigns?

Roman Reigns beat Jinder Mahal at Money in the Bank, but that isn’t what he wanted. Reigns wanted to be in the title picture — something that he finds even further away than before.

However, in a backstage interview after his win, Roman emphasized that this was still his “yard” and said his goal was to leave the WWE in a better place than it was when he got there — saying that is what he has done.

Roman then said that all the young guys and experienced guys that want to make a name for themselves would not go over him to do it. It was a very John Cena sounding promo and might mark a difference in Reigns character moving forward.

WWE Monday Night Raw airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. EST on USA Network.
