After his loss over the weekend, it looks like CM Punk is finished with the UFC. While talking about his future, UFC President Dana White basically said CM Punk is fired from the UFC and that his career in the company has ended.

MMA Junkie reported that White said in his press conference after UFC 225 that CM Punk, who is now 0-2 in the UFC, won’t be back. Previously, White defended booking Punk for another fight by speaking about how much money he brings into the company when he is scheduled.

However, White said that the UFC gave him two shots and he showed a lot of heart. With that said, he said that CM Punk is 39-years-old and that should be a wrap for his UFC career. He said that he loves Punk but that should be it for him.

The first time that CM Punk fought in the UFC, he was knocked out fast in the first round by Mickey Gall. In this second fight at UFC 225, Punk went the distance but lost in a unanimous decision. With that said, Punk was not able to show any legitimate offense in the fight and ended up transported to the hospital after the fight.

Dana White was also not happy with Mike Jackson, who beat CM Punk. He said that Jackson had chances to end the fight and didn’t and then said of Jackson: “he’s a complete f**king idiot, and I couldn’t wait for that fight to end.”

Mike Jackson was surprised at the comments.

As for CM Punk, many of his fans are wondering if he will return to wrestling again now that his UFC career has ended. There is the All-In event in his hometown of Chicago later this year, promoted by his friends Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks. However, Punk shot down those rumors in an interview with MMA Fighting.

“I’m done, I’m done, I’m done with professional wrestling,” CM Punk said.
