Now, these two teams will square off in the biggest game of the season with one walking away with a title and the other dreaming of what could have been.
If this matchup sounds familiar – it is. These two have met in the Grey Cup on 10 different occasions dating back to 1935.
The most recent time they met with the Grey Cup on the line was back in 1984, a game which Winnipeg dominated from the start as they rolled to an easy 47-17 victory.
The two have met twice this season with Hamilton winning both contests. Now Winnipeg fans are hoping that the third time is the charm!
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are 8-12 in the Grey Cup games while the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are 10-14.
