Gronk Beach is coming! Former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski’s big announcement reveal on Tuesday was about his 2020 Super Bowl party, not a return to the NFL – at least not yet.
While many New England Patriots fans were a bit disappointed when they heard the big news was just Gronk throwing a huge Super Bowl bash, they were left with a bit of a riddle at the end of his announcement.
Gronk big announcement
Gronk Beach was announced in typical Rob Gronkowski fashion. Gronk revealed his big news with a two-minute video he created and posted on social media.

Gronkowski announced his big “Super Bowl Bash Big Game” weekend party would be one for the ages. It will include top talent in the music world, exotic drinks, great food, and even a VIP Encore Beach club section promoted by the Wynn Las Vegas.
There is no doubt that Gronk’s party will be epic! While that is great for folks heading to the big game, Patriots fans want to know what the end of Gronk’s video entails.
The two sides of Gronk
In Gronkowski’s big announcement, we see a football version of Gronk, and a beach-going party guy side of the former NFL star. The two-sides of Gronkowski are battling back and forth to decide what to do with his future. Kind of like a devil on one side of your shoulder and an angel on the other.
Should he go back to the NFL and the New England Patriots, or head to the beach and host the biggest Super Bowl party in human history?
In the end, the surfer side of Rob Gronkowski’s inner thoughts wins out – but did you catch the final line?
When the tight end gives in to his party side, he says “Okay, maybe we call an audible – but just for this year.”
Right there it tells you he is coming back, or at least seriously contemplating the idea. Gronk loves the spotlight, that’s for sure, but most fans, myself included, believe that Rob Gronkowski will return to the gridiron. It is not just a question of if, but when.
