The Bold and the Beautiful is celebrating its 8,000th episode on Friday January 4, 2019 with a sensational, scintillating, and shocking storyline that promises to rock fans to their very cores. How deliciously soapy!
B&B executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell has promised fans a whopper of an episode to mark the show’s incredible milestone. “We’re grateful that you’ve allowed us into your homes for over 30 years,” he said recently. “The 8000th episode is classic Bold and Beautiful drama. The story arc centers around an event so profound, it sends shockwaves throughout the lives of the Forresters, Spencers, Avants, Spectras and Logans for years to come.”

B&B debuted on March 23, 1987. As a special remembrance, Bell shared with fans eight of his significant storylines from the last 8,000 episodes. Which of these plots was your personal favorite?
1991: Eric Forrester (John McCook) marries Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) in a lavish wedding in the Mojave Desert where they enjoy horseback rides and an awe-inspiring hot air balloon ride. The day climaxes in a luxurious tent where they consummate their marriage.
1998: Brazen Brooke debuts her lingerie line, Brooke’s Bedroom, on top of a bed on the Forrester Creations runway. Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) can only glare at her rival!
2008: Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is on life support in need of a heart transplant. Her heroic but troubled brother Storm is a match and he sacrifices himself out of love.
2010: Stephanie Forrester learns that she has cancer and wants to complete her bucket list. Long story short, she comes upon Skid Row and her life is transformed.
2011-2017: Steffy Forrester’s wedding appearances take center stage. At Lope’s Aspen wedding she takes her rival’s place donning a mini-skirt and boots, yee haw! Next time Steffy pops up in lace gown riding a motorcycle, and finally she zip-lines to the Australian ceremony from atop the Sydney Opera House.
2015-2016: The Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) transgender storyline is front burner. Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) proposes but after Maya discloses her truth he ends their relationship. In the end they marry and become surrogate parents.
2016: Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) kidnaps Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) at a remote cabin and convinces him that they are Adam and Eve, husband and wife.
2018: Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is shot from behind, and it’s a life or death situation. But the cops can’t figure out who did it because he has too many enemies!
