If you thought that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) was dead, think again. Soap deaths are a temporary inconvenience! It’s been confirmed that Ashford reprises his role on DOOL, on New Year’s Eve.
In fact, his onscreen wife, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) confirmed the news, saying his return plot is ingenious. “It’s perfect. And you won’t believe it! It’s so devastating and great you just can’t believe it.” Wow, this sounds like a story for the ages that you do not want to miss!
Jack was last seen in December 2017 as a ghost, but this time, the word is that he’s real and back to stay a while!
Could Sami (Alison Sweeney) be in for the shock of her life? She will be if Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is able to do what she demands. Almost three years ago, Sami lost the love of her life but she hasn’t stopped looking for him in the intervening years.
Abigail (Marci Miller) will stun her mom and Chad (Billy Flynn) with an outrageous (even for her) bombshell. Chad wants her committed because he thinks her alters are back. Unfortunately, the only one who will help her is Stefan (Tyler Christopher), evil personified.
Nonetheless, she accepts his help and their plan will shock you! But, will Abi live to regret her dangerous decision?
Elsewhere, Brady (Eric Martsolf) is a blubbering mess after what happens to Nicole (Arianne Zucker). He was ready to forgive and forget, but she perished (supposedly) in the warehouse explosion.
Enter Eve (Kassie DePaiva).
Foolish Brady tries to make amends with her, but will the scheming vixen give in to temptation or kick him to the curb? Let’s hope that Brady can get his life back on track without turning to the bottle!
