Soaps are full of surprises but it’s fair to say that The Young and the Restless viewers never saw Vane on the New Year’s horizon. Yet there they were, in all their deliciously demented glory, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) spit swapping to usher in 2019!
What in the world are they thinking, they hate each other’s guts, right? Well, you know what they say, where there’s smoke there’s fire and apparently we’re set to see a barn burner of a romance between these two hotheads.
Victoria went to rip Cane a new one for his son Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) being the cause of her son Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) hit and running all over his grandma Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) just in time for Christmas. She started spitting out accusations, but lo and behold he was too drunk to fully comprehend what she was saying. All he knew was that his son had too much to drink that fateful night, and Reed drove him home like any good friend would.
Needless to say things got heated with her throwing his illicit baby-making past in his face. Not to mention him nearly bankrupting her company once upon a time. Those were the good old days!
Well, one thing led to another and in between her tirades Vic and Cane found the time and inclination to go in for a big one. He had a hangover, and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) in jail, but what was her excuse?
Maybe it’s just plain old raging hormones because she’s also been getting cozy with her ex Billy (Jason Thompson). Is Victoria still of childbearing age because a who’s the daddy between these three would be one whopper of tale!
Anyway, the shocked new duo swore that this would never ever happen again, and no one must ever find out. You know what that means soap fans, stayed tuned because an epic, illicit, scorching-hot affair is about to unfold in the days and weeks to come!
